Name the forged dispatch and the entry on its card that proves it. Then write your wager: state the rule an honest roll must obey, and what would prove you wrong.
A royal dispatch rides the Chapar Khaneh from Susa to Sardis, and every relay seals its card with the Great King's mark: each seal is pressed from the card beside it, chained to the last. You fly the Imperial Saker Falcon down the route: bring each waystation into your reticle and read its dispatch card. Somewhere on the roll, one station's day-mark reads earlier than the station it follows — a forward relay cannot ride backward in time. Press every seal against its card yourself; the one that will not take the press is your forgery.
